Thrivey is the app with which you can easily make your kilometer declarations, just by taking your phone with you. With this privacy statement, Thrivey provides insight into the personal data that Thrivey collects and processes. It also describes what rights you have. Collected data:
- Data about potential customers: During the marketing and sales process, contact data about you and your organization is collected. In addition, a record is kept of what your and/or your organization’s needs are related to the services of Thrivey.
- Payment and billing information: The necessary data for the payment and invoicing process can be shared with our payment and invoicing partners.
- Account information: In order to identify you in the app, Thrivey keeps track of your account information. This also includes the settings you’ve made regarding the processing of your kilometer declaration.
- Location and motion data: To provide you with a trip summary, Thrivey uses location data (GPS). This information is also collected in the background when Thrivey is turned off, or is not being used. In order to do this energy efficiently, the motion sensor is also used. This latter data is not stored.
- Means of transport: Thrivey keeps track of the means of transportations you own and which are used.
- Trips, locations and annotations. Thrivey keeps track of which journeys you make and which locations you In order to generate a correct business declaration overview, Thrivey also offers you the possibility to annotate the trips and locations.
Processing the data:
An external system is used to calculate the distance traveled, namely mapbox.com. The travel data needed to calculate the distance is provided anonymously to mapbox.com.
The collected data can be looked at to improve our algorithms and for helpdesk questions. This is only done with explicit user consent, by authorized Thrivey personnel.
Thrivey proactively monitors whether all systems are set up correctly. If necessary, Thrivey will contact the user.
Retention periods
The personal data will be kept as long as Thrivey’s services are used. You can cancel your account in the app. When you cancel your account, your data will be deleted. However, if you have used a paid service, your payment details will be saved.
Security
Thrivey takes the security of your personal data seriously and uses up to date industry standards for this.
Rights
- Right of access and data portability. You have the right to view your data. It is possible to receive a printout of your data.
- Right to rectification and oblivion. You have the right to adjust or have your personal data removed.

In addition, you always have the right to submit a complaint about the processing of your personal data to the Dutch Data Protection Authority or to the court.
